Throughout history, the arrival of each new technology has awakened voices that proclaim the end of something emblematic: photography would put an end to painting, CDs to vinyl, and electronic books to paper. However, great works not only survive, but find their place in new eras. Today, the turn to disappear seems to have come to the Enlightenment, threatened, according to some, by artificial intelligence. But is it really the end of visual art as we know it?  The history of human beings and their need to create are millennial; We drew in caves more than 10,000 years ago, and we will continue to do so in the future. AI changes the how, but not the why. Technology can transform our tools, but the drive and pleasure of creating are deeply human forces that no machine can replace.
