Out and about is an exhibition of drawings that capture Maltese and other scenes both locally and abroad. The basic medium is pen and coloured pencil, pastel on paper and some drawings of pen alone on board. The drawings have an architectural and illustrative flavour eminating from Graham Gurr’s early background influences as an Interior Designer and Illustrator. They are realistic yet reflect a very personal colour pallette which is Grahams interpretation of places around him. The drawings have a peaceful quality about them and a softness that colour pencil gives when skilfully applied.
