After years of painting and sculpture learning, during which Damien felt that his art was somewhat formatted, he feels the need of being faced to matter, of being confronted with the place where ideas spread and not the opposite. He studies the confluence of religions, writes texts, composes music, do ceramics, work on analogue photography and finally, returns to painting, his first love. Nature is for Damien a source of shocks. No surprises, with that name: Damien comes from Damia, name attributed to Cybele, goddess of wild nature.
From February 6th to March 1st at GALLERY KENT. Opening on March 1st at 7 PM.
